Benetti 85 has also two cabins for three full time crew. The charming interior including spacious living room in the main deck was designed by Francois Zuretti who has managed to create a 5 star floating hotel. Exceptional motor yacht is powered by two CAT C15 Acert at 850 hp (636 kW) each reaching maximum speed of 13 knots and cruising speed of 12,5 knots. 126 ton displacement ensures a comfortable and safe cruising. Fuel tank has capacity of 15,000 liters (3,962 gallons). The fuel consumption of the boat is 15,4 gallons per hour at cruising speed providing enough fuel for eight days. The fresh water tank has capacity of 3,000 liters (792 gallons). Benetti 85 is also equipped with two Kohler 40 kW 230 VAC/50 Hz generators and VT Naiad 33 kW bow thruster. The exterior styling is the work of Stefano Righini. The Benetti BSD 85 may be a small boat in compare to other Benetti Sail Division yachts but it has been very well received even among ship owners who could afford a larger boat. Thus it is not surprising that Benetti 85 is often called a mini-megayacht. Benetti Sail Division has justified its reputation as one of world's top luxury yachts manufacturers once again.
