The overall length of the Numarine 55' Sport is 55,9 feet (16,9 meters). Length of the hull is 52 feet (15,81 meters), while the maximum beam is 14,8 feet (4,48 meters). The yacht has two engine options: 2 x 800 MAN achieving maximum speed of 38 knots and 2 x 1100 MAN with Arneson achieving the mind blowing speed of 50 knots. The range at the cruising speed of 27 knots is 250 nautical miles if powered by 2 x 800 MAN with the conventional generator and 332 nautical miles at cruising speed of 35 knots if powered by 2 x 1100 MAN with Arneson. Fuel capacity is 630 gallons (2,385 liters), while fresh water capacity is 100 gallons (380 litres). Displacement with the engine is 39,680 lbs (18,000 kilograms). Like other Numarine's yacht, the 55' Sport is built by utilization of innovative technology and materials: vacuum assisted infusion with PVC foam, unidirectional and multiaxial E glass, Vinylester resin, Aramid reinforcement and bonded grind stiffening system (BGSS) which reduce weight but increase speed and strength.
